Hailing from Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, Subhayu Samanta is an agricultural entrepreneur who has been trained and groomed to play a key role in his village’s agriculture extension program. Ever since the outbreak of the pandemic and the effective lockdowns, many small farmers in his village are finding it hard to access the essential seeds and fertilizers ahead of the sowing season.
