About Savita

Savita Shinde has a unique dream. She wants to become a local village leader in Solapur. A pioneer by nature, Savita displays strong leadership skills which she hopes to put to use by inspiring other women in her village. She currently works seven days a week running a five-year-old animal husbandry business to support her big family. Now, Savita wants to ride a wave of progress by seeking a loan to purchase a buffalo. She hopes that this investment in a buffalo, will increase the amount of milk she can sell and strengthen her livelihood. She shares the responsibility of providing for her three sons with her husband and hopes this venture will help ease the burden. Invest in Savita as she takes steps towards success for family, and one day, for the rest of the village.
